The South Yorkshire Energy Centre building - an eco-refurbished former terraced house in Sheffield - rendered detached by demolition in the 1970s - exists as a showcase for sustainable building techniques and as a base for sustainable building advice and training. The solid walls are insulated with a variety of insulants including Thermafleece.
